What is integrity?

Namaste! All of you, my dear blog readers, know about my website-swaroopa.net. I have started my business, Swaroopa store, which can be accessed from Shop tab on my website, for Souls who are interested in a personal reading. There is also the Swaroopa Store link, on my blog's left side. Now to the post.

Last week, we discussed, how it is imperative to speak our truth and walk our purpose- Sathyam Vada-Dharmam Chara! Only when we are true from our heart, extending to our word, the higher spiritual energies align, so that we can do our Dharma- purpose we came into this Earth realm to do. The path of our own Dharma, even with its thorns and perils is the path that brings the highest potential of creative manifestation. Everything else falls short, either a mere 5% or almost full 85%.

But if we want a 100%, using all the creative/spiritual/ emotional/ mental/psychological and even physical faculties, we need to take up the path of our Dharma-purpose. Only there we can even think of achieving fulfillment in every part of our life. But even here, Universe is so smart, the energy keeps us away from something, so that we don't fall into complacency. Too much of a good thing also can keep the Soul from striving towards achieving its Dharma.

So, in human life, always something is less. It is less perfect, but then perfect in its own imperfection. Upanishads say, only Brahman or Universe is perfect- Poornam, even if you take loads and loads out of it, it stays- Poornam, perfect, full, never to become apoornam- incomplete. This shows a being to achieve, near status of complete perfection, has to operate from a Soul perspective and not from the human/body/mind perspective.

From a being perspective or mind perspective, we are only operating as the drop in an ocean. The ocean with all its massive gifts is missing. To the total ocean to come into the picture, the drop has to become one within the ocean, as an individual soul aligned with the Universal Soul through one's own heart and intuition.

Emotional debris: Each of us, the being is provided with amazing Soul gifts. This lies deep within the Soul of each being. But it is so deep, the person themselves has no clue about this. Above this as a Soul we accumulate a lot of Soul debris, pieces and bits of gunk of emotional dust that we carry with us through lifetime after lifetime. As this is emotional in nature, our logical or rational mind has zero clue about this. We keep on living the same patterns again and again, with no break in sight for ourselves.

Each of us as Souls have gone through massive transformational changes, like religious, social and cultural persecutions, Nazi concentration camps, plagues, diseases, deaths, civil wars and every other thing, the human Souls have can ever endure. Each of these lifetimes, a piece of the worry, sadness, anger, ego or desperation, we carry with our Souls. This piece of emotional gunk, in the next lifetime interfere with our normal routines of life. We would have no idea, from where this is coming from. But these patterns or behaviors may not have anything to do with our current lifetimes.

As because we accepted a sliver of fear, anger, worry or sadness from that particular lifetime, we left behind a small piece of the Soul with that particular lifetime. Now, we can ask, so that lifetime is over. Isn't it a lost cause, to worry about a piece of our Soul, that got lost in some ancient lifetime? Remember, the name of this post is- Integrity. We are coming to it.

Let me now, elaborate on another concept that is very mind boggling, I myself don't fully understand it. It is considered in esoteric wisdom and somehow, I intuitively know, this is true as well. Anything, any experience, word, even our emotions we put out into the Universe is kept in the ether. This is like a library of anything and everything that happened anytime/ any eon or any age of the Universe. Is it true? 

Who knows? I have come across such writings in the books and the internet. Nowadays, I also wonder, from where do I get such ideas to write content after content? This is like my 180th blog post. How am I able to do it? I intuitively feel, most probably I am able to access this library of ancient wisdom through my intuition. Somehow my intuition is able to go and access this material. It comes to be as insights and flashes of knowledge, which I share through my blog posts.

This process is very sub-conscious, and I myself don't understand it. So, any way, if such library exists, isn't it a given that the lost Soul pieces of us are somewhere within that library? Logically it should, isn't it?? Think about it. Even the lost world of Dinosaurs or the cave-men are sitting somewhere in this library. A Soul who can time travel, may be able to go to these places and interact with these dinosaurs or cave-men. That is why, as a human, we only know so much about the Universe. So, it is truly humbling in-case, we are able to manage a few pearls of wisdom.

Soul essences, lost: So, the same way we accumulate Soul debris, we also have lost bits and pieces of our Soul here and there, all through our lifetimes in this Universe. Now, don't think, it has to be a human lifetime, itself. It can be even an animal, tree or a bird lifetime. Thinking from this perspective, we as a human becomes just a speck, nothing, in the greater spectrum of things. That is why Socrates quoted- "I know that I know nothing". Totally true, being a tiny dust in this Universe, we are.

Back to the point. We have lost a lot of these Soul pieces in many of our lifetimes and it is next to impossible to retrieve these. First of all, we cannot time travel, we have a very heavy physical body. The low vibrating physical mass cannot go outside our Earth. Even to go to the International Space Station (ISS), we need space jackets and suits. Next, coming out of this physical body as a Soul is next to impossible. That is called Death-in normal human terms. How can we die, go and search for our Soul pieces? Next to impossible. Also, the point of searching for the Soul pieces itself is lost, if we die? Because, we want to live as a Poornaswaroopa- full form of the Soul, here in this lifetime, not to die and find our Soul pieces.

So, to find and retrieve these Soul pieces are next to impossible. Above this, we as human population are living from our mind, without much connection to our own heart or Soul. Already, not much connection to even the incomplete Soul, that exists within us. Above this, we want to find the lost Soul pieces? Pure craziness!

So, in normal cases, it is absolutely impossible to retrieve the Soul essences we left somewhere during our Soul's journey. But we also know about the Soul self- Viswaroopa, which we discussed two weeks back. To become the full Soul self, it becomes imperative to take back all these lost pieces. As of now, I intuitively feel there is a way being within this body, having the mind we have as now. It is to start acting from our very core, from the Soul with the deepest intention aligned with heart, intuition, subconscious mind, conscious mind, thoughts, words and actions.

In the Natya sastra (dance science) of India, there comes, a phrase how to do the dance. "Yatho hastha thatho Dristhti, Yatho Drishti, thatho Manah, Yatho Manah thatho Bhaava, Yatho Bhaava thatho Rasa". It means wherever your hand is there should be your sight, wherever your sight there should be your mind, wherever your mind there should be your expression and wherever your expressions, there should be your emotions.

Let us now, extrapolate this to our Soul essence concepts. Wherever your actions are there should be your words, wherever your words are there should be your thoughts, wherever your thoughts are there should be your conscious mind, wherever your conscious mind is there should be your subconscious mind, wherever your subconscious mind is there should be your intuition, wherever your intuition is there should be your heart and wherever your heart is there should be your Soul. So, the actions should align with the Soul.

Here the person starts to operate from the Soul space. They are getting the power of all the faculties. A person as powerful as the Soul itself within the body of a being. This is the true will power. Standing in this space, the person can start to command all those Soul essences to come back to the person. Do you think, this is magic? Yes, it is indeed magic, the magic of the will of a person. We joke about will and choice. When every single faculty aligns and a person takes charge of their life, that is when the true will of a person starts to come into picture. The intention of the Soul should be that of the person- all stream-lined and aligned.

 

Instead, what do we humans do? Hahaha! We say something, intend within our mind something else and take action as another thing. See, how the energy is getting lost? Energy becomes scattered because the word is somewhere, action is somewhere and the intentions are definitely something else. Due to this nature of humans, we ourselves axe our success, creativity and imagination. The energy is all over the place, nothing aligned to capture the Dharma, purpose we came here for. We as humans are more afraid of others knowing our intention. So, we speak one way and act another way. Also, are humans so great that we need to deeply hide our intentions? We are a useless speck in Universal terms.

 

But the better thing is to be very true to ourselves and just maintain silence of our own intentions. We don't have to go and drum it to everybody. We can be as silent and focused as a puma and go about our actions. Have you seen how a puma crouches, totally focused on its prey ready to pounce- single minded focus? It doesn't care about anything else other than its prey. Same way while being in this world taking care of every other detail, we can be totally focused on our Dharma with our will power as a crouching puma totally set on our intentions, but very silent.

Integrity: When we embrace this state, we are given an amazing will power, to call back all the small pieces of the Soul we lost to eternity. But to get access to this kind of will, it is a given we have to be extremely true to ourselves, that is aligned as a single thread of pearls from the intention of the Soul to the actions of the person. No, there should be no falseness or ego or boasting. But the simple intentions and actions of the Soul coming through the person. Very streamlined and very pointed.

In truth who is digging the grave of success and contentment? It is not the other person, but the person, each being for themselves. Another person can influence our will, but finally it is fully on us, the being what are our intentions, thoughts, words and actions. When Saturn- the judge comes around, each of us the being cannot escape saying, "I did it because the other person said or influenced me". Saturn would look point blankly at us and ask- "What did you do with your will power? You had a choice to use your will. Why didn't you use it? Now, you cannot escape the Karma, for the actions you took".

So, the Karma comes exactly for what we thought, intended, and did. No questions asked. So, back to will power. As a truthful and powerful Soul, we can call back all the Soul pieces we lost along the path of our Soul journey. When we start to powerfully access our intentions, will and choices, we are in truth calling back all the tiny Soul pieces. They start to slowly coming back to the person from lifetimes beyond. When each piece starts to align with us, the gunk sitting there in place of the piece starts to fall off. The person starts to become refined more and more. This is why a very truthful person feels refined and elegant. Literally getting polished off their emotional debris. Very refined!

Until then as that piece was missing, some Soul debris or gunk had taken up that space. But now as that piece of Soul had to integrate, the gunk or the debris falls off. The person starts to become more and more of the Soul itself. To further clarify, integrity is the noun of the verb-integration. So, integration of a whole lot of lost Soul pieces, so that the person becomes a whole being- all the pieces integrated- a person acting as whole, not as bits or pieces of oneself. But as a whole person with their own values, attitudes, mindsets, opinions and perspectives. Not a half or 1/4th of a person- but a full and total person.

A person with integrity. Of course, to reach this stage, the person has to align everything as we discussed before, whether someone is watching or not. That is why, integrity is defined as "The quality a person embraces-the values or actions of a person, when nobody is watching". It is irrelevant whether someone is watching or not. To function as a whole person, every faculty should be aligned from the Soul to the word to the actions. A person of integrity. So, in proper terms, integrating every piece into the Soul, so the person has utmost integrity and act as a full person. Not as a puppet to an agenda, propaganda, foreign power, or to some hidden motive.

But as a person of value, ethics, honor, truth, and integrity. A person whose actions show their words, words show their intentions, intentions show their mind, mind show their heart and their heart shows their Soul- everything perfectly aligned and functioning like a well-oiled machine. History has provided us many personalities like that.

First and foremost, among them, Abraham Lincoln, a man of character and integrity. He was called by his peers and the nation of USA itself as "Honest Abe". At this juncture, when the US elections are going to happen in just over two weeks, I want to give respects to that great Soul and ask all Americans to vote for their conscience. The great Soul Abraham Lincoln had the phrase- "One Country - One Destiny" stitched into his coat he used for his second inauguration in March, 1865.
